The Fleur Room is a reservations only cocktail lounge from globally renowned Tao Group Hospitality opens in August 2022. Located on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, The Fleur Room is a clandestine escape where expertly crafted cocktails are served in a lavish atmosphere filled with eclectic treasures and original art echoing contemporary Hollywood splendor. Led by Tao Group Hospitality’s Beverage Director Craig Schoettler (Alinea, The Aviary), The Fleur Room’s bar program centers around handcrafted cocktails alongside an extensive Champagne and curated spirits list. Guests can expect a highly considered cocktail list complete with fresh juices, housemade syrups and infusions, and elements of surprise like dramatic vapors and dry ice presentations – all complemented by the provocative ambiance of the lounge.  

A rebellious take on old Hollywood, The Fleur Room’s maximalist design is a collaboration between Tao Group Hospitality’s in-house design team, led by Vice President of Design and Development Susan Nugraha, and the LA-based interior designer, Tara Bean. Entering The Fleur Room, a curvaceous larger-than-life ‘Love Handle’ vase filled with a burst of fresh flowers by buzzy artist Anissa Kermiche greets guests. A focal point of the space is striking artwork from the iconic Los Angeles artist Kenny Scharf and the NYC-based artist Emma McMillan, curated by art advisor Elizabeth Margulies. 

The 2,000 square foot space is enveloped with a pleated blue wallcovering, mirrored ceiling with an oversized gold flower disco ball, plush patterned velvet seating accompanied by marbled cocktail tables, and bespoke Venetian glass fixtures. Tucked away in corners of the room, guests will discover the Tufted Room and Love Room both of which are draped in gold shagreen velvet from wall to seats. Adding rich layers to the space, is custom mural wallcovering by Calico with a large-scale painting of a jungle after dark. At the bar, guests are invited to sip a drink under the hot pink flower Venetian glass bar pendants that bring the Fleur Room to life.
