The redesigned Hudson Yards destination, inspired by New York City’s iconic Art Deco skyline, marks the global hospitality leader’s boldest statement yet in elevated dining and sky-high nightlife

Peak with priceless dining room

This May, Tao Group Hospitality, the global force behind some of the world’s most celebrated culinary and nightlife destinations, unveils a complete reinvention of the 6,000 square foot dining and events space above Edge at Hudson Yards. Together, a reimagined Peak with Priceless restaurant, all-new Avenue Sky Lounge and the seasonal return of Marquee Skydeck at Edge, these one-of-a-kind culinary and entertainment venues represent a new chapter in sky-high hospitality.

AVENUE RETURNS TO MANHATTAN AMONG THE CLOUDS AS AVENUE SKY LOUNGE

Few venues have left a mark on New York City nightlife quite like Avenue, which became a fixture of the West Chelsea club era during its ten-year run from 2009 until its pandemic-forced closure. Now, Tao Group Hospitality is bringing the legendary ultra lounge back, in a bold 2026 reincarnation that promises an even more elevated take on the glitz and glamour that helped define a generation of nightlife.

The new Avenue makes its long awaited return as a sophisticated cocktail lounge and private event venue, built around a cocktail program inspired by the city itself. Each curated libation reflects the distinct spirit of New York, with beverages evocative of neighborhoods from all five boroughs, including: The Upper East Side, an effortlessly chic blend of gin, cucumber, mint and champagne; the Rockaway Colada, a playful and elevated take on the classic seaside sipper; and Hell’s Kitchen, a bold, fiery tequila cocktail, layered with peach, amaro and a firewater tincture. A robust, award-winning wine program featuring nearly 2,000 labels from around the globe complements the cocktail program, inviting exploration and allowing guests to experience a world of flavors in a single, unforgettable venue.

“At the heart of this transformation is the return of Avenue,” said Noah Tepperberg, Tao Group Hospitality Co-CEO. “Bringing Avenue back to New York is deeply personal for us. It’s a brand that has always represented the best of what we do, and reimagining it 1,100 feet above Manhattan felt like the only way to do it justice.”

Designed as a flexible, transformative environment that can move fluidly between time of day, occasion and party size, the inspiration drawn from Manhattan’s Art Deco landmarks can be clearly seen throughout. Developed in partnership with global design and innovation agency Journey, these classic motifs have been reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, creating a venue that feels both timeless and of-the-moment. A statement bar anchors the space, while a modular layout supports lounge, cocktail and private event configurations, making Avenue a welcoming and warm fit for hosting gatherings of up to 170 attendees, from intimate soirees to full-scale celebrations. Rendered in warm lacquered woods, soft suedes and upholstered ceiling and wall paneling, with geometric forms and architectural arches signature to Art Deco, the all-new Avenue Sky Lounge offers understated luxury at every touchpoint and for every occasion.

TAO GROUP HOSPITALITY REIMAGINES HUDSON YARDS DINING HOTSPOT, PEAK WITH PRICELESS

Peak with Priceless, the restaurant at the pinnacle of Hudson Yards, offering unparalleled views of Manhattan, is also rising to meet the moment.

Developed in partnership with Journey’s physical design team, the thoughtfully designed restaurant, lounge and private event spaces offer a counterpoint to the sharp geometry of the glistening Art Deco skyscrapers viewable just beyond the venue’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows, through intimate, warm spaces, rooted in the city’s heritage.

Rich lacquered wood finishes anchor the newly refined spaces in warmth, with velvet drapery and custom upholstered banquettes evoking old-school luxury, updated for a contemporary audience. A considered palette of deep tones, layered with blue and grey accents, offers a sophisticated reflection of the Manhattan skyline and an environment as elevated as its altitude. Every seat in the reorchestrated dining room is intentional and every sightline choreographed, ensuring commanding skyline views from any vantage point.

With the transformation of the all-new Peak with Priceless, Tao Group Hospitality is evolving the premium dining atmosphere guests have known and loved since its opening in 2020. Under the direction of Chef Ralph Scamardella, Chief Culinary Officer at Tao Group Hospitality, the menu draws on the bold, refined flavors that have made Tao one of the most recognized names in global dining. With a menu of sophisticated takes on classic American cuisine, beloved prix-fixe and a la carte offerings return, alongside new additions.

“This new era of dining at the height of Hudson Yards reflects the world-class hospitality we’re proud to deliver,” comments Tepperberg. “Every detail of this reimagination has been built with a single question in mind – how do we make the guest experience feel as extraordinary as the views from it? We believe we’ve answered that.”

As the official partner of Hudson Yards, Mastercard cardholders have special access to the most in-demand table seatings on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, available to book on priceless.com.
