As part of our Tao Cares initiatives, we celebrate Women’s Empowerment Month by providing internal programming and opportunities for our team members to learn, listen, and get involved. We hosted 2 Black History podcasts with special guests Pamela Sandonato, Senior Vice President, Brand and Communications Covenant House, Sandra Brunson, CFO, Secound Round Foundation, and April McDaniel Founder of Crown and Conquer. We showcased our team members through a series empowering spotlights, stories, and videos.
We held a live cooking event for team members where they learned how to make pesto pasta from our very own Chef Mel.
We also held volunteering opportunities with Dress for Success to pack ‘back to work’ bags, and provided weekly resources to our team members and encouraged them to share their stories and experiences.
