Magic Hour’s New ‘Sparkly Summer’ Rooftop Pop-Up Is Here

From now until September, Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge at Moxy Times Square — known for its Instagrammable rooftop and over-the-top, seasonal installs — is celebrating the sparkle of the city with its newest summer rooftop experience. All that glitters is gold with Magic Hour’s ‘Sparkly Summer’, setting the bar for summer rooftop season with new shimmering decor, photo-worthy food and drink specials, and a hidden cocktail bar serving up exclusive cocktails.

The fresh take on Magic Hour’s iconic glistening carousel features over 25,000 rhinestones and pink, purple and blue hues of florals throughout the space. The new floral-lined staircase serves as the perfect photo opportunity with a backdrop of the glittering Empire State Building, along with photo-worthy food and beverage specials.

It also comes with an adventure. Guests will have the opportunity to hunt for the pink, sparkly doors that will lead them to Hidden Gem, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar and lounge area within Magic Hour. This is the first time the rooftop will be opening this room and it will be decked out in disco balls and greenery for a dreamy summer atmosphere. Hidden Gem will offer over-the-top cocktails, curated by Corporate Beverage Director Nikki McCutcheon, that are exclusively available in the room. The six new photo-worthy cocktails are aptly named “Hidden Gems.”
