Las Vegas, NV – Tao Group Hospitality confirms that Cathédrale at ARIA Resort & Casino has officially closed its doors as of Saturday, May 31, 2025, following a successful multi-year run that brought theatrical flair and bold Mediterranean flavors to the Las Vegas Strip.

Originally conceived by Tao Group Hospitality, Cathédrale became known for its dramatic dining environment and a menu inspired by the diverse culinary traditions of France, Spain, Italy, and Greece. However, it was the restaurant’s visually stunning and innovative dessert program that resonated most with guests and garnered significant online acclaim.

As a result, Tao Group Hospitality will shift focus toward its newest culinary venture, TAO DESSERTS, a brand born from the sweet success of Cathédrale’s pastry program. Designed to spotlight the eye-catching, decadent desserts that captivated global audiences, @taodesserts will now serve as the group’s dedicated platform to celebrate its most crave-worthy creations—now offered across Tao Group’s global portfolio of restaurants and venues.

“The dessert experience at Cathédrale became a social media phenomenon and an integral part of our guest experience,” said a representative from Tao Group Hospitality. “This transition to TAO DESSERTS allows us to evolve and amplify what resonated most with our audience—indulgent, shareable moments that blend art with taste.”

TAO DESSERTS marks a new chapter for Tao Group Hospitality, continuing the company’s legacy of culinary innovation, theatrical presentation, and elevated hospitality on a global stage.
