Tonight saw a host of VIP guests including Jared Leto, Naomi Campbell, Michaela Coel, Winnie Harlow, Damson Idris, Poppy Delevingne, Chloe Delevingne, Dave Grutman and Chantel Jeffries gather together to celebrate the official opening of LAVO, the highly anticipated Italian restaurant from Tao Group Hospitality. After decades of success in major markets including New York City, Las Vegas, Singapore and Los Angeles, LAVO has garnered a loyal following and its arrival in the capital is already attracting quite the A-list crowd.

WHAT THEY DRANK:

 Guests were welcomed to a selection of cocktails including the LAVO-LINI, Pineapple Tommy’s Margarita, the LAVO G&T and House Margarita.

WHAT THEY ATE:

Canapés included arancini with wild mushrooms and truffle aioli, tuna tartare and gnoccho fritto with stracciatella and caviar. Meanwhile, guests flocked to the seafood station where they indulged in oysters, little neck clams, King crab legs, lobster, prawns, caviar and scallop ceviche whilst the pizza and carving station proved to be quite the hit.
